Sashiko, Mindful mending and embroidery Workshop 20th June (am session)

Regular price £20.00 Sale

Date: 20th June

Time: 10am -12:30pm

Come and learn the art of Shashiko, a striking hand-sewing technique that originated in ancient Japan. In Japanese, its name means “little stabs”—a reference to the plain running stitch that makes up sashiko’s geometric, all-over patterns.

Sashiko is usually described as a kind of embroidery, used traditionally for mending but we will explore the mindfulness in stitching and go away with a beautiful wall hanging that you can continue at home!

All materials included as well as tea and coffee and a relaxing morning spent in our lovely georgian studio just off the Circus.

All materials included.
